We all want to live a long and healthy life, enjoying the things we love doing like spending time with friends and family.
Research has identified that eating certain foods will help us to do this. What you eat when you are 40 will impact on your health when you are 50, what you eat when you are 50 will impact on your health when you are 60 and so on. Additionally, it is never too late to start eating nutritious foods because changing your diet at any age will still help to provide healthy years as we age.
So what are the foods that we need to eat to age well and have more healthy years as we age? There are no miracle foods or diets, however there are foods that we can include in our diet that have been scientifically proven to assist with reducing our risk of certain age related ailments.
Generally a healthy ageing or anti-ageing diet will include nutrient rich foods found in a variety of food sources that are as close to their natural state as possible. There are some foods that I suggest, after much research, adding to your diet that provide nutrients that assist with age related issues. I have chosen these foods because they are nutrient rich, scientific research results have proven that they are beneficial for healthy ageing and they are foods that are easily available in supermarkets and alike.
